Photo Editing Second Touch

Good morning everyone and welcome to the blog part of my personal site. The topic of the post is ” Photo Editing Second Touch “.

It is probably easier for me to take pictures and dedicate myself to my hobbies, than even to write.

So again the title of today’s post is absolutely correct and real, Photo Editing Second Touch.

I wanted to add some considerations to the photo editing software that I purchased last March.

I must say, that I am fully satisfied with the product, and the results achieved.

The software is extremely simple to use. In a few days of tests and experiments, I believe it is possible for everyone to find their own best calibration of the sets.

I also believe it is fast, in processing the images, saving them and exporting to any media and/or possibly cloud platform.

I’ve already received a couple of software updates from the manufacturer, which have further improved the performance of the product.

Personally, I expect (I hope) some further improvements in addition of pre-set filters. Dedicated for example to macro photography, and nature in general.

I think it should not be so impossible. It would certainly be a substantial improvement in my opinion compared to what is currently in place.

Below I report an example of a photograph NOT retouched by the software and THE SAME photograph, where I have applied a photo editing.

Data relating to the photo shoot: Photo taken at 210mm – F9 – Shutter speed: 1/400 – ISO: 500 | Mode: Manual | Freehand, at the minimum distance allowed from the lens (1,5mt).

Equipment used: Sony Alpha 6400 (APS-C) – Lens: Sony 55-210mm OSS. (F4.5-6.3)

I repeat once again that photo editing, and therefore the application of changes to the photograph is essentially a question of PERSONAL TASTE. And it is also and above all a function of what you want to achieve in applying the changes to the photograph.

Some of you might like for example more blacks, or shadows, or maybe more vividness… Each of us has our own taste and also our own eye. So modify and edit accordingly.

There are no rules to follow, in this sense. I think it’s really a question of personal taste and needs.

See you next time !
